Kaylee's 16th!

 I, Josie have the great pleasure of again posting for Kaylee in celebration of sixteen years. 

We were truly meant to be sisters from the beginning. Both of us so different and yet so compatible. One sister speaks. The other listens. =) How I love having sisters and Kaylee is no exception. Beauty Spunk, laughter, creativeness and randomness among so many other words describe my amazing sister.

I can't believe how many years have past. Best friends who have done everything and said everything to each other. Think of the even crazier and wonderful things we'll do in all the years ahead of us Kaylee dearie.

Happy 17th Birthday...

... to my sister/friend/and partner in crime. =D

There was a puddle of water in our driveway, so I decided to take some pictures. (Hannah, these are for you.=D ) Josie, being my

ever willing model, put on her best smile and posed. We had a blast taking them and imagined our

neighbors looking through their windows the whole time. ;}

So, with no further ado, meet my loverly sista!

Josie is the middle child, so therefore, the quiet peace maker in the family. =D

She is the bookworm in our family. Once she opens a book, there is no point in trying to make conversation. 

If you haven't noticed, she's got the cutest dimples. They compensate for my lack thereof. ;]

She is a great example to me in diligence. She hardly ever complains about anything. 

She's probably the most tender-hearted of our family. 

She's the "get the facts exactly right" one.

She is my "world problem solving" buddy.

I'm apparently funny...

                                      ...and not to mention my "after midnight" laughing companion!

She is the one that I can just look at and we both keel over laughing.

She is the one that tells me the truth about myself, even though I don't want to hear it. And vice versa =D 

She's my sister and I love her bunches!

Where do I even begin? This little sister of mine has a hundred words just waiting to

describe her. And don't let the seriousness of some of these photos fool you. Kaylee, frankly stated, is something else. :)

How did I ever live without you Kaylee?

Well I didn't have to for long.

You are my best friend, the one who makes me laugh the most (I wonder why) :) the one who can make me blink in silent consternation the most which will usually turn into laughter whether what you said made sense to me or not just because you amuse me so much.

Twins? Not hardly. We couldn't be much different could we Kaylee?

Playing with you was (and still is) always so much fun because  you always had something fun to do even if it sounded crazy at first (well sometimes it was a little bit on that side.. ahem). 

So Many fun times. Like singing late at night and sounding so terrible we fell laughing and crying on the floor. And Kaylee we had the idea to record ourselves during this so we probably had just as much fun listening to ourselves as we did singing.

Cousin Patrick

Kaylee and I may be very different but we do share many common interests like taking walks, biking, being outside in general, singing, talking late at night (that is before we get in bed since we share different rooms) listening to our favorite artists which happen to be mostly the same and telling each other what we are going to name our kids or what we are NOT going to name our kids ( trust me that's not hard to do while flipping through a name book). 

This girl has always loved to be in the kitchen.

And because I like to be honest I will tell you that Kaylee has come a long way in her cooking skills. But we don't need to bring up old subjects like oatmeal that felt like jello do we Kaylee dear? :)  And it's not like I had or have cooking skills to boast about either. But let Kaylee fry some good meat with rice and veggies and you have a wonderful and very tasty dinner.

If you ever need someone to talk to you count on Kaylee.

 Enough said.

And just to be random which Kaylee does so well I have nominated Kaylee as the Queen of Randominity.

Sweet 16!

Happy 16th Birthday to another dear sister, Josie!

A couple years ago we were driving in the van. As we were driving past a Walmart that had a greenhouse  I remarked.. "Wouldn't it be cool if we owned a greenhouse exactly like that?" "It would look like we owned the biggest green house!" Josie rolled her eyes, looked at me and said without missing a beat "It would look like we owned Walmart!"
That's Josie for 'ya! :)

....1. She's the one who keeps me straight, even when her sides are bursting with laughter!
2. she sees things either right or wrong, nothing in between.
3. She can't stand jello. (I don't blame her... yuck!)
4. She could eat a whole can of whipped cream!
5. She's my outside companion.
6. She can sing REALLY good.
7. She's a lot of fun to be around after 12:30 AM. ;)
8. She can run super ooper fast!
9. She biked into the back of our vehicle once. ;)
10. She's also good at math.
11. She is very sensitive to other's feelings.

1. She LOVES spending time with her Creator God.
2. She LOVES memorizing the Bible.
3. She is an amazing song writer.
4. She's never been on an airplane before.
5. She literally read  five Joni Eareckson Tada books within a three day period.
6. She Loves to smile.
7. She can eat a lemon with a strait face.
8. She likes correcting math answer keys. :)  (Seriously!)
9. You can literally ask what Hezekiah 1:2 is, and she will either give you the jist of it or quote it to you.
10. Her favorite color is pink.
11. She is a very cooperative camera subject.
12. She would like to visit Israel some day.
13. The minute that she broke her arm, she started looking for her watch that fell off her arm during the incident.  (and then wondered why her arm hurt! :)
14. Late at night you can catch her laughing at anything and everything.

17. When she was younger, instead of reading books at the library, she would organize the shelves, and find the books that were out of place.
