Let your words be the genuine picture of your heart.

The {LORD} is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in {HIM}, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise {HIM}...

Could we with ink the ocean fill,
And were the skies of parchment made,
Were every stalk on earth a quill,
And every man a scribe by trade,
To write the love of God above,
Would drain the ocean dry.
Nor could the scroll contain the whole,
Though stretched from sky to sky.

O love of God, how rich and pure!
How measureless and strong!
It shall forevermore endure
The saints’ and angels’ song.

When did it happen.....

...Another year older

Where do I even begin? This little sister of mine has a hundred words just waiting to
describe her. And don't let the seriousness of some of these photos fool you. Kaylee, frankly stated, is something else. :)
Grandpa Dale's humor had something to do with this photo :)
How did I ever live without you Kaylee?

 Great Grandma Kate and Kaylee

Well I didn't have to for long.
You are my best friend, the one who makes me laugh the most (I wonder why) :) the one who can make me blink in silent consternation the most which will usually turn into laughter whether what you said made sense to me or not just because you amuse me so much.

Mrs. Goodman (Kaylee on the left and me on the right)
Twins? Not hardly. We couldn't be much different could we Kaylee?
Playing with you was (and still is) always so much fun because  you always had something fun to do even if it sounded crazy at first (well sometimes it was a little bit on that side.. ahem).

So Many fun times. Like singing late at night and sounding so terrible we fell laughing and crying on the floor. And Kaylee we had the idea to record ourselves during this so we probably had just as much fun listening to ourselves as we did singing.

Cousin Patrick

Kaylee and I may be very different but we do share many common interests like taking walks, biking, being outside in general, singing, talking late at night (that is before we get in bed since we share different rooms) listening to our favorite artists which happen to be mostly the same and telling each other what we are going to name our kids or what we are NOT going to name our kids ( trust me that's not hard to do while flipping through a name book).

This girl has always loved to be in the kitchen.
And because I like to be honest I will tell you that Kaylee has come a long way in her cooking skills. But we don't need to bring up old subjects like oatmeal that felt like jello do we Kaylee dear? :)  And it's not like I had or have cooking skills to boast about either. But let Kaylee fry some good meat with rice and veggies and you have a wonderful and very tasty dinner.

If you ever need someone to talk to you count on Kaylee.
 Enough said.

And just to be random which Kaylee does so well I have nominated Kaylee as the Queen of Randominity.

Thirteen Reasons why I Love Kaylee
  • She is fearfully and wonderfully made
  • She is great fun
  • She is  the best companion
  • She and I are so perfect for each other
  • She makes me laugh (a LOT) :)
  • She makes me cry from laughing so hard because we can be so funny together especially at some certain hours of the night
  • She is passionate about life
  • She is so easy to talk to
  • She is my sister ( obvious I know but it IS an important fact)
  • She has a wonderful sometimes rather amusing  love for children
  • She is talented in the artistic field
  •  She has a unique look on life
HAPPY BIRTHDAY KAYLEE!!!! You are truly one of a kind!
note: Just to clarify with y'all, Kaylee did not turn thirteen, I just wrote thirteen reasons because her birthday lands on the thirteenth.

Y'all just leave a kind note now and make this day even more special for Kaylee.

note: I (Josie) did not hack this blog but rather got the author's permission nor can I be held responsible for any embarrassment that this post may have caused.  :)

Father's...

...They bless us in SO many ways!

"Walk With Me Daddy

Walk along side me, Daddy, and hold my little hand. I have so

many things to learn that I don't understand.

Teach me things to keep me safe from dangers everyday. Show me

how to do my best at home, at school, at play.

Every child needs a gentle hand to guide them as they grow, so

walk alongside me, Daddy-we have a long way to go."

~Written by HELEN BUSH
I'm the one with that ridiculous cheesy grin.

Daddy, thank you SO much for being caring, willing to listen to my ranting and raving, gentle, kind, and for putting others first instead of yourself. Thank you for the many sacrifices you've made!
I'll always remember the times you'd wrap your arms around me, comforting me after a bad dream when I was little, and now I thank you for the many times you have mentored me and taught me!
Thank you for being a man of God, faithful, selfless, and willing to serve!

I Love you!
Kaylee for All his girls!

Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart:
