"Line In The Soil" celebration...

The Cory family holds this celebration in remembrance of God's goodness to them after a major tornado five years ago... It destroyed several buildings on their farm, But God in his goodness protected their home, family, and the necessary farm buildings. Luck? We call it providence!
We live very near the Cory's and were miraculousy protected from this tornado.

It has been a huge blessing to attend and help out with this event every year!
They use this to event not only to recount of God's goodness to them, but also to bring to remembrance the necessity of healthy living.

Alright, enough talk... So with no further ado, I present to you the "Line In The Soil" celebration. :)
Enjoy!

Scottish bagpipe music performed by members of the McKenzie Highlanders.
It was lovely music! (I was a bit disappointed that they didn't have those adorable Scottish accents though! :)
Saluting the Flag!
Mr. Cory
Michael Ernst www.hismenrevealed.com portraying John Adams. His message was very powerful!
This cute little person is a bundle of cuteness. (The camera angle is terrible though!)
Cute? I think so!
See?
This girl is a delight! It has been SO much fun watching her grow up!

Adorable, eh?
He had such a hard time trying to pull them all! It was cute though! :)

 telling a really animated story.
This 'lil squirt melts my heart!!!!!
He has SUCH a personality!
And his grin is heart stopping!!!!

I couldn't resist capturing this sweet father & son moment!
She's such a poser!
Flying Pig, Fiddle & Banjo music concert  http://www.flyingpigfiddleandbanjo.com/
Their music was amazing! They let all the children have a chance to play along with them!
She was doing an Irish jig to the music!
I try to stay behind the camera... Other times... :) picture taken by April.
They folk danced to the music.
It was so cute with all the "lil people!"

Cute? enough words said!

 Love you Bethany! :)

His turn playing his part in the music.
This picture does not do him justice.

Drawing for the door prizes! My sisters and I were handing out the tickets. Josie and I got a bit confused and started
putting the children's tickets in the adult bucket and visa versa. We thought it would be okay until a couple of the adults had to receive the children's prizes. Embarrassing, no?

I think mine was called, but I wasn't paying attention.

Love ya, April!

All in all It was a delightful night!
I pray that many souls were blessed that night! And hope to return next year!

soli deo gloria!

I apologize for all the grainy pictures! I tried to cover most of it up by using the "soften" editing. Thus, that explains all the softened pictures. :)
